Continuing Professional Development Programme
Continuing Professional Development Programme
JDOH is pleased to include a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme for its readers who are required to show evidence of CPD hours spent. The Programme is formulated is accordance with the guidance of the UK General Dental Council and the guidelines of the FDI World Dental Federation. The General Dental Council regulations now require all registered UK dental professionals to undertake CPD and provide evidence of verifiable CPD. The questions in this issue will provide a total of two verifiable hours for those entering the CPD programme. Dental professionals wishing to enter the Programme need to log on to www.jdohonline.org, Register if they have not yet done so, or Login if they have already Registered, and go to the Take CPD section. Certificates can be printed for the Programme in each issue, or stored in a personal ‘Global’ account and printed at any time. There is no charge for this service. CPD online will close on 28 February 2015 as the answers will be given in the March 2015 issue (Volume 16 No 1).
