Time
The passing of time affects us all and at times we face vulnerability and frailty. It occurred to me recently, on a
personal level, the effect an impairment has on an individual, their family and work colleagues. Although working with
patients and their families and carers brings us into daily contact with this reality, actually considering the substantial effects disability has on the person, and how they feel about their condition can sometimes be side-lined in the business of providing oral healthcare.
