Conscious sedation used to facilitate dental treatment for a patient with myasthenia gravis and associated co-morbidities: a case report and evidence review

Myasthenia gravis (MG) is an autoimmune, neuromuscular disorder characterised by fluctuating muscles
weakness. The nature of this disease is characterised by phases of remission and exacerbation ranging from mild
to severe, and rarely with fatal cases.
