Management strategies in primary dental care for patients with dementia: a systematic literature review

Abstract
Aim and objectives: This systematic review seeks to analyse the available literature to examine the management
of patients with all stages of dementia in primary dental care. It is intended to enable primary care practitioners and
their teams to better manage and treat patients with dementia according to best practice and provide high quality,
evidence-based ‘dementia friendly dentistry’.
