An unusual presentation and subsequent management of gingival overgrowth in a patient with a severe learning disability – a case report
Abstract
Drug induced gingival overgrowth is an adverse effect of systemic medication leading to unwanted aesthetic
changes along with pain, bleeding, and increased risk of both caries and periodontal disease. This case report
describes the unusual presentation and management of gingival overgrowth caused by sodium valproate.
