The oral health of people with spinal cord injury – a scoping review
Abstract
Aim: This scoping review and associated stakeholder consultation aims to identify what is known from the existing literature about the oral health of people with a spinal cord injury and identify any gaps. Method: The scoping review methodology involved six stages. Electronic databases were searched in February 2021 for relevant peer-reviewed and unpublished literature. Articles were selected according to inclusion criteria and data tabulated. A thematic mapping approach was undertaken. Stakeholders were consulted to ensure their views were considered.
