Digitally fabricating a replica denture for a patient with a neuro-disability: a case report

Abstract
Remaking dentures for older patients with cognitive impairments and decreased neuromuscular control can present challenges in individuals living with a disability that limits their ability to engage with treatment. The case describes an 86-year-old male who required a new partial denture and conventional impression taking had failed. A scan of his existing denture was taken, which was then 3D printed and relined to produce a denture with improved retention.
